HK-014 条件录取 vs 无条件录取：先核对清楚再付款

换回的是「不白丢一笔留位费」——清楚「什么情况能退、什么情况不能退」，也避免把「有条件」误当「已录取」而放下其他申请。

规则一：有条件录取要先「达成条件」

科大 MSc(MAFM) 官方原文：

「In order to confirm the offer for registration, applicants with conditional offers must submit documentary proof of having met the conditions as early as possible and no later than mid-July for Fall admission, or the end of December for Spring admission. They will see 'Conditions met' in their program choice status in the Online Admissions System once fulfillment is confirmed.」

港大国际招生页原文：

「Our advice is to apply for a visa as soon as you have received a firm or conditional offer.」

「Is the deposit payment refundable and transferable?　Deposit is non-refundable unless you do not meet the conditions specified in the offer of acceptance.」 「If I cancel/withdraw my application, can I get a refund of my application fee? —— The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable once submitted.」

中大 · How to Apply（Admission Offer Process）

「2. Accept offer and pay admission deposit according to the instruction specified in the Payment Advice. 3. If you receive several offers, you can only accept one. Decline previous offers before accepting a new one. 4. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.」

中大 · 研究生总则 3.1

「An applicant who has been offered admission to a course of study shall pay the fees and register by the respective deadlines. Anyone who fails to pay fees and register by the specified deadline shall be considered to have declined the offer.」

「Acceptance Fee（non-refundable and non-transferable）　To accept the offer, applicants must confirm their acceptance online and pay the acceptance fee in full by the reply deadline. Failure to do so will be regarded as declining the offer. Acceptance fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except under the following circumstances: • when the applicant subsequently accepts another offer of an award programme of CityUHK in the same semester/term of admission and has paid the relevant acceptance fee • when the applicant fails to meet the condition(s) of the admission offer resulting in a withdrawal of the offer by CityUHK; • when the programme for which an offer is made is subsequently cancelled by CityUHK.」

科大 · MSc(MAFM) Accepting Offer

「In case I fail to meet the conditions, will the University refund the deposit to me?　The deposit paid will be refunded if an applicant provides proof that he/she has failed to meet the conditions of the offer. Otherwise, any deposit paid is non-refundable.」

⚠️ 关键差异：不是每所学校都「未达条件就能退」

• 科大：官方明文——未达条件可退（须提供证明）。
• 城大：官方明文列三种例外，其中包含「未达 offer 条件、导致城大撤回 offer」。
• 港大 · TPG FAQ：明文——「Deposit is non-refundable unless you do not meet the conditions specified in the offer」。
• 中大：官方口径偏「All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable」「the deposit paid CANNOT be refunded」——未见「未达条件可退」的明文。
• 结论：必须分校分写，不能一概说「都能退」。

⚠️ 官方没有「定义条款」

• 「Conditional Offer / Firm Offer」的正式定义：五校官方页未找到统一定义条款。官方多以流程描述呈现（科大「Conditions met」、港大「firm or conditional offer」）。
• 条件内容以 offer letter 为准。正文不给「定义」，只讲怎么核对。
• 留位费金额：无统一——按校按课不同（科大 MPP 押金 HK$80,000；港大 MSc(CS) 非本地押金 HK$167,400 等），须逐课引用，不得给统一金额。
